PVC Strip Calculator for Traffic Doors
There are multiple factors impacting the number of PVC strips a strip door requires, including strip width, strip overlap and door width.
Strip width is how wide each PVC strip is (standard widths are 4", 6", 8", 12" and 16".)
Strip overlap is the percentage of the strip that will create a double layer PVC seal. For example, approximately 2" of a 4" wide strip with 50% overlap will not overlap with the strips to either side. In other words, there will be an approximately 1" double layer PVC seal on each side of the 4" wide strip with 50% overlap.
The calculator below will determine exactly how many PVC strips your door will require – simply fill in your desired specifications.
